Spy is a matchmaking service for adults 18 and over that works over text message. We operate a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive behaviour. Everyone who uses Spy agrees to these rules; breaking them can cost you your account permanently.

1. Zero tolerance

There is no warning system for the following. Accounts are removed immediately and, where required, reported to law enforcement:

• Any sexual content involving minors, or any attempt to contact a minor
• Threats of violence, stalking, or harassment
• Hate speech or slurs targeting protected groups
• Non-consensual intimate images, or sharing anyone's private content
• Prostitution, escorting, trafficking, or any commercial sex
• Romance scams, financial solicitation, or requests for money
• Impersonation or catfishing
• Illegal drug sales or weapons trafficking

2. Also not allowed

• Nudity or sexually explicit imagery in your profile or your messages
• Graphic violence or gore
• Spam, bots, mass messaging, or commercial promotion
• Sharing another member's personal information, including their phone number, without their agreement
• Using Spy if you are under 18, or helping a minor use it
• Scraping the service, or automating your side of the conversation

3. How we enforce, and how fast

Reported content is reviewed by a human. We review reports of objectionable content and remove violators within 24 hours of a report. Outcomes range from a warning to permanent removal. You will be told when a decision affects your account, and you may appeal to support@joinspy.ai.

Spy is a small service run by people, not a moderation department. We would rather tell you that plainly than imply a scale of review we do not have.

4. Reporting and blocking

Because Spy runs over text, reporting runs over text too. Text Spy and say so — describe who and what, and Spy will pass it to a person. You can also email support@joinspy.ai at any time, including about behaviour that happened after you met someone in person.

Ask Spy to stop introducing you to someone and it will, permanently, without telling them why. We do not notify the person you reported or blocked.

5. Meeting people safely

Members are reviewed against a LinkedIn profile before they are introduced. That is a check on who someone says they are professionally. It is not a criminal background check, and we do not run one. Please:

• Talk before meeting in person
• Meet in a public place the first several times
• Tell a friend where you're going and when you'll be back
• Arrange your own transportation, both ways
• Never send money, gift cards, or crypto to anyone you meet here — no exceptions, no matter the story
• Don't share your home address, financial details, or documents
• Trust your instincts; leave any situation that feels wrong

6. What Spy knows about where you are

Spy asks for your city so it can introduce you to people you could plausibly meet. It does not track you. There is no app on your phone, so there is nothing running in the background, and Spy never has your precise location, a map, or an address. The Privacy Policy is the full account.

7. Your licence to use Spy

Spy LLC grants you a personal, limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable licence to use the Service for your own personal, non-commercial purposes, for as long as you follow these Guidelines and the Terms. You may not copy, resell, reverse-engineer or automate the Service, and you may not use it to build a competing product.

Spy is delivered over text message and through joinspy.ai. There is no app to install, so nothing here is an app-store licence and no app store is a party to this agreement.
